needing a paraphrase to re-sync my old passwords

I used to use Opera (mostly Opera GX) (Windows 10), and I just reinstalled to see me needing a paraphrase to re-sync my old passwords. I didn't remember my old password, so I changed it. I know this is a bit unseemly, but I sorta have proof of owning my account a while ago? Just wanted to see if there were any last efforts, since I tried the old passwords, but they don't seem to be the right one. I think I still have the other device.

-Another question, does Opera GX and Opera sync?

@Zacovat Either you need to provide your passphrase to decrypt, and use, your synced data or you need to provide an old Opera account password to also decrypt and use your synced saved passwords that were encrypted using that old password.

@Zacovat Your synced data is encrypted locally, before it being uploaded to the sync server. So there is no way to decrypt your synced data unless you remember the passphrase/password.
