@OperaticKitchen It’s an issue on Opera‘s side, not on your‘s. We just have to wait for a fix, which will probably come with the next update.

@andrew84 I just did a fresh install. TBH I was going to Vivaldi in the meantime. But their sidebar doesn't match Opera's for me.

I'm now on:
But I don't see any announcement about it.For me, Flow doesn't work either, btw.

@daria19 Thank you, this error was the thing, I was talking about.

@whisperer @andrew84 Totally right, Opera has to make money. The most money they're earning at the moment is from ads, while search revenue, only accounting for some 30% I think, is decreasing.
You could also say, that maintaining only one browser, either Opera One or the pre-One, doesn't get them enough users, though. GX has seen a rising in users as One to my knowledge has not. Custom browsers are a way to raise awareness and win new markets. The standard browser landscape is already crowded and most people stick to the browser that comes with their OS or download Chrome.
BTW that's the reason why Firefox struggles too. They haven't found a sustainable business model so far. Even Vivaldi, which has contracts with search engines, now actively asks for donations which they refused some years ago.
I'm not sure, how big their developer team is. As they're drawing on Chromium, most of them will work on adjusting Chrome to Opera's specific features and UI. Someone said that their development team was as about 10 times as big as Vivaldi's and then it were about 300 to 500.
I see part of the reason to change to the new UI design that it would make it rather easy to modulate on it to create something like GX and Air. Taking Opera Crypto as a blueprint, they might in a foreseeable time, abandon even GX, Air and Neon for a version of One, that is able to be customized as one of these offsprings. I installed Air some time ago out of curiosity and it didn't seem to be so much different then. What sticks me to Opera, still, then? Well, name me another browser, that doesn't come with some annoyance of its own:
Chrome - data harvesting for Google
Edge - data harvesting for Microsoft
Firefox - slower and probably more insecure compared to Chromium
Brave - too much focus on crypto, some shady actions behind the wall
Vivaldi - very small team, still often buggy, too many features
Safari - only for the Apple eco system -
RE: can I create multiple home pages each with it's own set of specific speed dial tiles?Opera for Windows
@amelia214 I'm afraid, but I don't think Opera supports different user profiles. And I don't think different workspaces have different speed dial tiles either.
@brucemc777 That might be a major drawback when using Opera if you're heavily reliant on different profiles. On the other hand, if you happen to use to different devices with your Opera account (except iOS which has no real sync option), you could create an individual speed dial page for each as, contrary to other browsers, Opera keeps them separate from another. You can reach them all via the sidebar, but your speed dial on one device stays uneffected by changes on another.

@deathcat I don’t think, anybody forces you to use this browser or their siblings. You can use them for free. If you do despise them so much, just hop off and use another. There are plenty. If you are so pissed off you might want to do this.
I‘m also playing with this thought like maybe a few others too. I‘m wondering and asking, still. And I‘m aware that no other browser comes without issues. -
RE: Opera 119.0.5497.88 Stable updateBlogs
To be honest: They haven't corrected neither blog post nor changelog so far.
In another thread I asked about Opera trailing three versions of Chromium and I got this answer:

Make of it, what you want! -
RE: General reliability, security and privacy of OperaGeneral
@Opera-Security Thank you for explaning. You‘ll find me nearly convinced now.
Would you think it’s possible to have a general post on your blog about your handling of Chromium, security fixes and your security policies generally? Maybe, as you‘ve done with the „Debunking…“-post about spyware allegations.
It seems to me that I‘m not the only one having these concerns. -
RE: Opera 119.0.5497.88 Stable updateBlogs
@andrew84 He misunderstood you, actually. He thinks you were claiming they were on 135, whereas you stated the contrary.

RE: General reliability, security and privacy of OperaGeneral
I've made this test with the latest update from today. So what should I make with that? It seems there are a lot of unfixed issues in Opera's most recent Chromium version, so that I get a security alert. I'm really concerned.
I'm almost on the jump for security reasons. Opera might have some fancy features but what about the browser's security? -
RE: Opera 119.0.5497.88 Stable updateBlogs
It doesn't matter anyway, as we're dealing with lots of open vulnerabilities, as it seems.
It has also detected version 134 BTW.

RE: Opera 119.0.5497.88 Stable updateBlogs
@andrew84 I see, that's what they also say on their blogs. But in Beta's case, they give us this:
That's already from more than a week ago. So I wouldn't count it as unrealistic to moving 119 to the same Chromium as you have on Developer. -
RE: Opera 119.0.5497.88 Stable updateBlogs
@andrew84 It may be so, it may be not: As even beta is already on 135.0.7049.115 for eight days already.

My installation of this update still keeps me on Chromium 134, I'm afraid.

@sgunhouse I'm not having this issue, actually. Maybe a problem only for some regions?

RE: Logged out from SpotifyGeneral
@leocg Maybe, I‘ve found out, what triggered it. I logged in via the code that was sent by mail, first. In this case, I was logged out after restart.
But the next time I logged in I chose to do this with my password. And then, fingers crossed, I was being remembered. -
RE: Synchronisierte Schnellwahl/Speed Dials auf der Startseite anzeigen.Deutsch
@tiobb Sehr gerne: Ich versuche es mal.
Schritt 1:
(also "copy7cut and paste").
